Abel is a carbon project lead for Brazil at Earthshot Labs. He has more than 10 years working on Nature Based Solutions for the voluntary carbon market and academic background in forestry. Abel has experience on the development of REDD+ and ARR projects as well as project sourcing and working for the lead standard setting body in the voluntary carbon market, Verra. Previously, Abel worked for Verra for the last two years and for South Pole for another seven years.
