Alejandro’s work sits at the intersection of forests, maps, and systems thinking. With more than seven years in Nature-based Solutions, he uses GIS and geospatial analysis to help teams understand what is happening across a landscape and what that means for a carbon project. His experience spans REDD+ and ARR projects, from early planning through implementation and optimization. Trained in both forestry and systems engineering, Alejandro brings an ability to move between ecological questions and technical problem-solving. He holds an MEng in Systems Engineering and a BSc in Forestry Engineering.
