Carlos Bonilla is a geospatial data analyst and environmental data scientist with over seven years of experience applying advanced analytics, remote sensing, and machine learning to climate and nature-based solutions. Prior to joining Earthshot, he led data science efforts at South Pole, where he developed predictive tools for deforestation risk, biomass estimation, and methane emissions modeling. He also contributed extensively to real-time weather monitoring and satellite-based climate systems at SIATA in Colombia. Carlos is passionate about bridging science and technology to create actionable, scalable solutions for climate resilience and biodiversity protection.
