Ceci has spent more than 17 years inside the systems that define what a high-quality forest carbon project looks like. Her career has taken her from designing Mexico’s first Carbon Neutral Program at Pronatura Mexico, to a decade helping shape the Mexico Forest Protocol at the Climate Action Reserve, to leading Natural Climate Solutions work at Verra. Along the way, she has reviewed more than 60 natural climate solutions projects and contributed to more than 20 NbS projects across four continents. That history means Ceci brings both deep technical knowledge and an unusually broad view of how carbon standards evolve, where projects get stuck, and what rigor looks like in practice.
