Emily Kauffman holds a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and brings over a decade of experience as a frontend software engineer. Her career spans a wide range of industries, including robotics, e-commerce, and cybersecurity, where she has led frontend architecture initiatives and developed tooling to support complex, data-driven applications. She has a passion for mentoring and occasionally serves as an adjunct professor at a local college, teaching web design and development courses to undergrads.

At Earthshot, she contributes her expertise to building impactful tools that support the mission of restoring and protecting nature at planetary scale.
