Emily has spent more than 12 years making complicated systems feel simple to the people using them. Her frontend engineering career has crossed robotics, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and now climate technology. At Earthshot, she leads frontend development and UI/UX design for LandOS, building the tools scientists use to draw project boundaries, explore satellite imagery, compare layers of environmental data, and guide land classification. She also brings a long-standing interest in teaching and mentoring to the way she approaches software development. Emily holds an MS in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and is completing a graduate certificate in Remote Sensing at Penn State.
