Raquel is a sustainability strategist with over a decade of experience bridging agricultural systems, nature-based solutions, and carbon markets across Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Driven by the conviction that food production can be a force for ecological restoration, she now brings this breadth to Earthshot Labs — connecting corporate partners with high-integrity projects that deliver real environmental and community impact. Her career spans the full spectrum — from researching livestock emissions in the Amazon Forest at Wageningen University to shaping corporate net-zero strategy at a top-10 global FMCG company, and most recently serving as a Principal at Terra Global Capital, where she sourced nature-based carbon projects across more than 15 countries. Raquel holds an Executive MBA from Wageningen University & Research / TIAS and an MSc in Management and Innovation from Radboud University. Her work has been recognized by the Financial Times Responsible Business Education Awards, which named her a runner-up Alumni Change-Maker in Responsible Business.
